For the foodies among you, this new event on the festival calendar is one not to be missed. Local restaurateur Gerry Luskin, of Luskin’s Bar and Bistro is for one day only, bringing you a pop-up al-fresco dining experience under the canopy in the Military Quarter, Ballina as part of the Ballina Salmon Festival programme.

The Luskin family business, Luskin’s Bistro is now well-established in the Old Bond Store Courtyard in Dillon Terrace, and Gerry is well-known locally for his use of the freshest, locally-sourced seasonal ingredients. This specially prepared, once-off menu will feature some classic dishes with a real Ballina twist. Guests can avail of this special two-course meal (main and dessert) and a glass of wine for €20. There will also be musical entertainment on the day to make for a truly cosmopolitan lunch experience!
