Reeling In The Years Workshops at The Jackie Clarke Collection

Learn about the Ballina Salmon Festival in years gone by at this fabulous Reeling In The Years Workshops at The Jackie Clarke Collection.

Each child attending this creative workshop will walk away with a lovely story about the Ballina Salmon Festival, having created their very own newspaper front page, using images and articles taken from our the Jackie Clarke Collection’s newspaper collection over the past 53 years.

The workshop is being run by the Jackie Clarke Collection through their community and education departments and children will create their newspaper – “The Clarke Chronicle” – using images and articles taken from our WP newspaper collection for the last 53 years (Ballina Salmon Festival is of course 53 years old!)
