“Those Were The Days” – A Night of Dance Hall Nostalgia, Monday July 9

Ballina Salmon Festival and Soundman Entertainment are proud to announce a new and nostalgic event, recreating the glorious years of the “Dance Hall Days” with a twelve-piece Big Band and a fantastic mix of classic national and local acts.

This wonderful event will feature a stellar line-up from days of old right up to the present with special guests as follows:

  • Lorraine and Keith McDonald – The Showband Show
  • Shaun O’Dowd (of Shaun O’Dowd & Ding-a-Ling)
  • The Conquerors Band featuring Tony Maher & Frankie Collahan,
  • Frankie Mc Donald, (formerly with the great Joe Dolan)
  • For one night only, the world famous “Jack Ruane Showband” presents Jack Ruane Jnr.
  • J Duffy (Michael O’Callaghan Band)
  • Pearse McNamara, Dave McDonnell, John Haugh and more!

Featuring a special tribute to Mayo’s No.1 Hit Singer, Doc Carroll of “Old Man Trouble fame.

MC on the night is the inimitable Henry McGlade of The Irish At Home and Abroad. Bring your dancing shoes!
