Ballina Salmon Festival Busking Competition returns to the streets of Ballina this July 2023.

The Festival is delighted to invite musicians and buskers from around the town and county and beyond to Ballina between the 10th to the 14th July as part of the now annual Busking Competition !

Ballina is a magnet for musicians, the streets of the town have hosted two fleadh ceoils during the nineties, two Other Voices programmes in the previous four years, with musicians and songwriters flocking to Ballina in the intern, and now the Connacht Fleadh Ballina in 2023!

With prizemoney of €750 up for grabs, Buskers can register via this application form and be in with a chance to win cash prizes and perform on stage on Friday night, 14th July at Tidal Dance Beats ’23, an outdoor open air concert at the the Cot and Cobble, Ballina.

Running Monday 110h, Tuesday 11th Thursday 13th and Friday 14th July, festival judges will be walking the streets to pick 3 finalists which will battle it out on Friday the 14th before the Tidal Dance Beats ’23.
