The Ballina Salmon Festival is thrilled to once again host the beloved tradition of Crinniú na mBád (The Gathering of the Boats) on Monday evening, 14th July 2025. This cherished event will see a vibrant flotilla of boats gracing the River Moy, uniting both locals and visitors in a stunning display of maritime camaraderie and community spirit.
The colourful boats, a true reflection of Ballina’s rich maritime heritage, will gather and glide gracefully along the River Moy, showcasing the town’s deep connection to the river and its esteemed reputation as a premier salmon fishing destination. The festivities will be accompanied by the harmonious sounds of The Ballina Band of Brass, along with the Foxford Brass and Reed Band, providing a memorable musical backdrop.
