The Lady of the Moy competition is traditionally the highlight of the lead into the Ballina Salmon Festival every year and after a three year break, with the last Lady of the Moy taking place in 2018, finally this years event will be no exception.
Reigning Lady of the Moy, Kate-Leigh Farrell returns to the stage to hand over her crown to the new lady of 2022. Guests attending this years event in the Great National Hotel Ballina are promised an entertaining night out, filled with music, and glamour and loads of craic as Ballina’s own version of Dáithí Ó Sé, Paul Bourke, is master of ceremonies on the night, welcoming and introducing each lady to the stage.
The Lady of the Moy will represent Ballina Salmon Festival during festival week as well as acting as a n ambassador for the town throughout the year, including representing Ballina Salmon Festival in the Mayo Rose competition.
Holding the title of Lady of the Moy is regarded as an honour for the winning lady that offers great opportunities for networking, development, as well as many fun, memorable occasions throughout the year.
