Thank You…

We are deeply grateful to the generous supporters and festival partners who have made another year of Irelands oldest community festival, the Ballina Salmon Festival possible. We rely on your support, enthusiasm, and community spirit to help us present an outstanding programme of events every July, in Ballina, Co Mayo.

The tireless support of our festival partners is hugely appreciated by all Festival audiences and patrons. These sponsors allow us to directly fund the
festival programme as well as support the local talent, cultural and heritage activities, sporting events and artists, illustrating the exceptional talent,
and community spirit that is alive and present in Ballina. We are also incredibly thankful for the support our sponsors give to our Childrens
Programme, through which we hope to foster a love of arts and crafts, sports, and history in the children of this region, as Ballina Salmon Festival
programme continues to be ambitious for the children of the town.

Each year, a highlight of BSF is the grand finale night and this year was no exception, as the enthralling Macnas came to town, with ‘River Song’ a
meandering waltz through the streets of Ballina, inspired by the ebb and flow of the River Moy.

Crom the giant, of Macnas, made a huge impression on the audience, followed by the traditional fireworks display.  This year’s festivals’ final night created memories that will last a generation and be remembered for years to come.

To the business community – Your generosity and dedication to our vision are greatly appreciated.

Finally, Ballina Salmon Festival would not be the festival it is today without the hard work and passion our volunteer’s and local hero’s bring to it.

Throughout each year, we receive all kinds of offers of help and support; truly, this does not go unnoticed. You – our community – are the heart of this
festival, and we only hope that as a committee can continue to earn the privilege of your involvement.

Thank you
